It's a spinning ball of death! I never really understood how in the game Pokémon can unleash massive area attacks on every Pokémon on the field, without harming the opposing trainer or indeed his or her own trainer... Just don't get it...
The trainer's role is overrated anyway. I mean, what does a trainer actually do? Really? They just stand there, shouting orders and looking silly. And it's even worse in the anime, because there they don't actually stand upright. Instead they sort of squat or bend over, like they are about to spring into action themselves. That Ash-kid does it anyway. And to top it all off, they often yell: "DODGE THAT ATTACK!!", seriously... Who in their right mind would NOT try to dodge an incoming attack unless they were ORDERED to do so?! So I guess you'll understand if I make the Pokémon a little more autonomous in Stuff of Legend. To me it makes a little more sense that way... ;)

I don't really like Matt's hands in panel 1. I must have redrawn them four times, but they're still not quite right. And they looked so nice in the sketch... I guess I'll just practice drawing hands some more.
