Introduction - Cast - Archive - First - Back - Next - Last - Extras
Next up, the grey-scale page. This page also has the sketchy line art. And I used various tones of grey for shading. Obviously this is a much faster technique, especially considering the fact that this is quite a complicated page. There are five panels, most with backgrounds and with lots of different characters. In the usual style, this page would have taken me about 8 to 10, perhaps even 12 hours to complete. Now it took me 2 hours and 40 minutes. What I don't like about grey-scale is... well, the lack of color. It just really helps to set the mood...
Also, because I can no longer airbrush my backgrounds, I need to actually draw them. I hate that. XD
