August 19th, 2008 Pencil sketch I blame my scanner for utterly ruining this picture. This is the initial sketch for what will eventually become my very first Avatar fan art. I'm just too excited about it, to not show this to you in all of its sketchy, unfinished glory, right here right now. So here it is. The idea was for the gang to spend a day sorting through the Nickelodeon fan mail. I'm not sure if Nick has a fan mail room, but I'm guessing that they probably would need at least one entire room just for all the Avatar mail. And I'm also guessing that a lot of that mail would concern something that is commonly known as 'Zutara'. Count yourself lucky if you have now idea what that means. XD Here's the dialogue which would go with this picture: Zuko: 'I've got another letter for that "Zutara"-person.' Katara (in the back, carrying more Zutara-mail): 'Just throw it on the pile with the rest.' Zuko: 'Kay... Who is Zutara anyway?' Sokka: 'Beats me...' Funny? Absolutely not, but it just had to be drawn. The idea for this picture has been in my head for a very long time. I will finish this picture... eventually. Don't ask me when. :P Aang looks weird. I'lll have to fix that in the final version... And yes, I misspelled 'Nickolodeon'. I'll fix that too. EDIT: March 29th, 2009: Due to me losing interest in this piece, I probably won't finish this picture any more. Sorry guys. :(
