August 5th, 2009 Photoshop and drawingtablet And here is the last of the sketches I'll be offering to people who didn't place for Kilara's Avian contest. I may still draw something for the runners-up, but that'll have to wait. Anyway, this guy right here is called Emmu, and he is one of Hsi-Sama's characters. When I first saw him, I assumed he was a skateboarder type character, and that's how I sketched him. Then, as it turned out, the 'skateboard' is actually a weapon. Heh, whoops. Nevertheless, it still looks cool, right? ... right? By the way, I think this is one of those 'if-it-ain't-challenging-enough-draw-it-up-side-down' type of situations, only... I'm not that good, so I was actually just making things harder on myself for no real reason, and I'm sure I made a serious mess of the anatomy and... Obviously I must be tired, because I'm rambling. See? This is what happens when I stay up late!! *Goes off to bed* Oh, and the background textures are free resources provided by Hibbary.
