Photoshop and drawingtablet

Ah, yes!
I'm so glad to finally have some non-sketchy, actually labour-intensive art to upload. You just wouldn't believe it! So anyway, this is my contest-entry/early Christmas gift for Dantesgirl, who has had a rather rough time lately. This is her wonderfully superficial character Mimi, who apparently is magnetically attracted to cameras. I don't know why, but I like her. I realize the perspective is skewed, but I'm happy with the way I colored and shaded this picture. It's experimental, in case you couldn't tell.

I went a little overboard on the hair, and for some reason I'm particularly proud of how the teddy bear turned out. And the giant jug of whatever that pink drink is too.

...... Is that weird?

EDIT: People weren't getting that the character is holding up a camera at herself, so I made a slightly edited version of this: click here. I also flipped the image in photoshop, to see its mirror image. It's a neat little trick if you're trying to spot anatomical mistakes in your work. And uhm... I think I now know how I messed this up. Pffttt. Well, too late to fix all that now. I guess it's something to learn for next time.
