Its tail also has a small brain. It bites to repel any foe trying to sneak up on it from behind.
While it sleeps, the head on its tail keeps watch. The tail doesn't need to sleep.

Girafarig, the not quite so tall giraffe Pokémon. I feel like I really messed up this step-by-step-tutorial, but I don't feel like redoing it. As always, start by drawing two more or less oval shaps; one for the chest and another for the hip. Next, connect these two shapes, using two smooth lines. One will be the back and the other will be the belly. Now draw a circle roughly where the head will be. Remember that although Girafarig is a giraffe, it's neck is much shorter than that of a real giraffe. Deciding where the head will be isn't very easy, but I generally make the neck only slightly shorter than the length of Girafarig's body.
Now draw a smaller circle for the snout, an egg-shape for the head on the tail, and start drawing ovals for the upper legs. Connect the snout, the head and the tail to the main body using smoothly curving lines (don't worry if you can't get it right in one go). Now it's time to work on the legs and feet. That's a hard part and I don't really know how to explain it. You'll just have to follow allong with the picture above. You'll probably notice that you often end up messing up the length and width of the legs, but don't worry. Deer, horse and giraffe legs are just very difficult to get right. Practice and you'll eventually get a feeling for how it's done. I often mess up the legs myself.
Now start adding markings and details, such as the cleft hoves, the horns, the details on the head and the tail, the fins on the back and the markings on the body. Decide whether you want to draw a male or a female, because there is a difference. The Girafarig I drew is a male. Females will have the line dividing the front and the back halves of their bodies, located further back. Oh, and remember that Girafarig doesn't have any nostrills. Don't know why. It just doesn't. And that's it. You're done!
