Here we go: Medicham tutorial. I used to not like this Pokémon, because it looked so weird, but for some reason I always start liking Pokémon when I actually draw them. So now I like Medicham too. Anyway, as always, we'll start by drawing circles for the head and the hips. Connect the two circles using a smooth, snaky looking body. Remember, Medicham is very flexible, so it can't have straight back. Well, it could, but it would look strange. Also remember to give him/her a slight belly. It's their characteristic body shape, so that's just the way to draw them. Next, add the legs in whatever position you want them to be in. Medicham often stands on only one leg, as it's doing here. Now start drawing the headgear, with the two flappy-things on either side of the head. Also draw the basic shapes for the arms. Medichams don't have a very distinct muscle tone on either their torso's or their arms, so snaky, skinny shapes for arms will do just fine for Medicham. Just make sure to draw their elbows properly. Next up are the feet, which have toes which curl up a bit. Also draw the hands. The hands each have three, rather big and blunt looking fingers. Drawing fingers with digits is optional, as digits are often not even shown in official Nintendo artwork. Separate the legs from the main body, using the v-shaped... whatever that thing is. It'll make it appear as if Medicham is wearing baggy pants. Also, don't forget to draw the top flappy bit on the head. A big flap is for males and a smaller one is for females. This particular Medicham is a male. Finally, let's add the details. Medicham has round markings on its knees and on its head. Now add the big fish lips and the two eyes. Medicham's eyes are partially hidden under its headgear. For some reason, there are no light reflections in the pupils, though I usually draw them anyway. And that's it, all done!
